Allowing cyclists free reign riding on the road is coming to a head. Chesterwood is rocked with protests! Luckily, Elliot Daily is there to cover the issues with journalistic integrity.
Bicycle’s on the road can be incredibly frustrating, especially when there is a ton of them not obeying traffic rules on busy and fast moving roads. The inspiration for this Pizza Bros story comes from real life, and dealing with self righteous, negligent cyclists who think they are invincible against a 2 ton machine. In this case, pixel art imitates real life.
Difficulties
The most difficult to scenes to create using pixel art were definitely the cyclist passing the semi-truck. The perspective, especially using pixel art, was a little difficult to imagine and illustrate at times.
Comedy Writing and Pixel Art Coming Together
This is an instance were pixel art imitates life. Clashing views, beliefs, and opinions in today’s world have created a cultural civil war. We used this episode to cover today’s issues in the Pizza Bros setting.
Most Fun to Create
The most fun to create in this Pizza Bros episode were the protest signs. Using current political arguments and ideas and then applying them to the cyclist situation had us laughing the whole time while illustrating these scenes.
